Introducing New Team Member, Judo and BJJ Black Belt:  Marcus "Boquinha" Bello

Marcus will be the Head Judo and BJJ Instructor at our Southwest Freeway location.  We plan to introduce Judo to our schedule soon, stay tuned!


Marcus earned his Judo black belt in 1992 from master Rafael Caldeiras. At the age of 16 Marcus began training BJJ with coach Julio Cesar Pereira.  A stand-out competitor for Gama Filho (the team that would become GFTeam), Marcus was awarded his black belt in BJJ in 1998 from Master Julio.  He has accumulated many titles in both BJJ and Judo, including 2x Brazilian National Champion (1997 & 1998 SLBJJ) and 2x World Champion Master (2005 & 2006)
