This amazing program focuses on giving those with disabilities a chance to take on leadership roles and to artistically impact individuals of all ages with special needs through the teaching of musical theater. Founded by high school senior Jordyn Brandman, Performing heARTS continually hosts fundraisers in which 100% of proceeds go to other non-profits.

The inspirational story behind Down Syndrome Ironman history maker Chris Nikic
Chris Nikic is one of those rare individuals in life who has the ability to make people genuinely believe they can achieve their dreams. The Florida native was born in 1999 with Down syndrome and had open-heart surgery at five months old He was not able to walk well until he turned four.
For the last 60 years, NADS has been a leader in the Down syndrome community. Please consider helping us carry out our mission: "To ensure that all persons with Down syndrome have the opportunity to achieve their full potential in all aspects of community life."
