*Tickets are required for this event, and should be purchased with personal funds to benefit the PAC.

Contractor's Day at Capitol

PHCC's legislative team will discuss priorities and strategy for meeting with your representatives and senators at the Capitol. 

Take the opportunity to visit the offices of your state senator and representative. This valuable time will be used to communicate your priorities and concerns and help legislators understand industry issues. It is important to secure an appointment with your legislator well in advance of Wednesday.

Registration is required, but breakfast is complimentary to all Contractors Day at Capitol participants.

Campaign Contributions

Decisions made at the capitol can have a dramatic impact on how we do business. Because of the importance of the political system to our industry, we must have a voice in the decision making process. One way you can become more involved is by contributing to the PHCC Texas Political Action Committee (PAC). Our PAC is supported by individuals who are interested in making a difference for P-H-C contractors in Texas. 

Our PAC fund can make campaign contributions to Texas legislators who understand the issues affecting our industry. Through such contributions, we can help support candidates for public office who will give us fair and effective representation and are willing to take a proactive stance on our behalf. 

Contributions must be made by individuals (corporate contributions are prohibited) and are not deductible as charitable contributions for tax purposes.  (includes one badge to attend the PAC Reception.)
