The House and Garden Tour is returning!

Are you interested in learning more about the history and architecture of our neighborhood while making new friends? Join the house tour committee! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about showcasing the unique character and charm of our community. By helping us, we can share the rich history and beautiful design of our homes with outsiders. Your knowledge and enthusiasm would be a valuable contribution to our efforts. Experience NEW Fintastic Fall Days only at Camden’s Adventure Aquarium. Discover a glowing new adventure as glowing gourds in the shapes aquatic animals take over the aquarium, ready to delight with daytime fun! Explore among glowing sea creatures, discover underwater pumpkin carvers, and embark on a search for illuminating surprises waiting around every corner. Experience the adventure before it glows away!

Reading Terminal Market will host a Harvest Festival outside the market on Filbert Street from 11AM to 3PM. This free-to-enter event will celebrate the Pennsylvania Dutch and feature seasonal fare from merchants along with live entertainment.

The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square

Kicking off the season is IMMORTAL BACH at The Church of the Holy Trinity on Rittenhouse Square. Experience the transformative power of Bach's Motet masterpieces and Cantata 80, Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott, igniting awe and rejuvenation as Choral Arts welcomes new Artistic Director, Dr. Donald Meineke. This concert promises to celebrate the enduring spirit of Choral Arts Philadelphia as it continues to build its reputation as Philadelphia’s leading promoter of J.S. Bach’s choral masterpieces.

Guidelines for books that will NOT be accepted:

No textbooks or medical books

No topics that are outdated, such as computer, finance, travel guides, scientific and technical.

No books with writing within pages, tattered, torn, discolored by age

No language other than English

No CDs, DVDs, audiocassettes or videotapes

Donated books are placed on a sale table on the first floor. Proceeds benefit the library.

More than 130 functional craft artisans grace the square, showcasing works in ceramics, jewelry, wood, digital art, decorative and wearable fiber, furniture, glass, and photography. Show hours are Friday/Saturday from 11am - 6pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm, free to the public and rain or shine.

What is a Sound Bath? A sound bath is a meditation class with ambient sound played by the instructor that aims to guide you into a deeper meditative state. 

Optional group hike on the Lemon Hill Trail after the meditation session.
