Friends of Fitler Square Park (FFSP) is excited to announce a summer concert series in the park. Join them at 23rd and Pine Streets for free Friday concerts from 6 to 8 pm. Bring chairs, a blanket and maybe even a picnic.

Hey Melophiles…The Philadelphia Young Pianist Academy is hosting its 12th annual festival in our neighborhood at the historic Academy of Vocal Arts. Held from 7/27 - 8/4, the event offers lectures, master classes, competitions, and performances from internationally renowned pianists, as well as PYPA’s own young musicians. Tai Chi and Sound Bath in the Park

Manage your stress, improve your well-being, and find your grounding outside in the park. Join Fairmount Park Conservancy and Eunmi Chang from Eunmi’s Sound Healing & Yoga for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience in West Fairmount Park.
The event begins with a series of tai chi exercises. During the 45-minute sound healing meditation, Eunmi will utilize singing bowls and other instruments to guide you into a deep meditative state. Get your tickets here.

The 2024 Juneteenth Parade & Festival promises to be an incredible celebration of Black history, heritage and culture in Philadelphia. The daylong festivities feature a major parade down 52nd Street, as well as a music festival, a vendor marketplace, a car show and a dedicated children’s pavilion.
