Final Redistricting Draft Map Now Available
The Final Redistricting Draft Map is now available for review after many weeks of discussion, suggestions, and changes. The final map will be adopted by The Board of Supervisors at its 2:00 pm board meeting on December 7th.

DWC Invites Comments

On Tuesday, November 30th, The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) will seek ideas from insurers, attorneys, employers and health care providers on how to improve the efficiency and quality of care provided to injured workers. Small Business Tax Credits Available
Your business may qualify for a tax credit! Available credits are limited, so don’t delay!

The 2021 Main Street Small Business Tax Credit II will provide COVID‑19 financial relief to qualified small business employers. We will be accepting online applications to reserve tax credits from November 1 - 30, 2021. The application period may close earlier if the credits run out. Qualified small business employers may apply to reserve $1,000 per net increase in qualified employees, up to $150,000 in tax credits to offset the tax due on either their income tax or sales and use tax return.

The credit applies to California small businesses that:

  • Employed 500 or fewer employees as of December 31, 2020, and
  • Experienced a decrease of 20 percent or more in income tax gross receipts by comparing specified periods.

We are very happy to send this Save the Date for our next College and Career Fair for the Galt High School District!

Galt College and Career Fair
March 9, 2022
12:00pm-3:00pm

Please save this date and join us! This year, we are partnering with the City of Galt's March for Health Day! March for Health will be held in the morning and the College and Career Fair will follow in the second half. This will take place in town, open to the community, including our high school students, who are out of school at 12:15 pm.

We expect a large crowd! We are excited to share college and career opportunities, including entry level jobs available to our students, graduates, and other community members. More details will follow in November.
