Hello to our Run Tucson running and walking friends.

Well, after the Grand Canyon Trail race last month, we took a deep breath (and a brief nap) and then began planning for 2022.

As always, our goal is to make life better through running.

As you can see in the list of 2022 events below, our schedule is suitable for everyone, with one event on a Saturday night, two on Saturday mornings, one on a Monday morning, and two on Sunday mornings. This year, you can run or walk a half marathon, a 15k, an 8-miler, a 10k, six separate 5k's, and a few single mile events.

Circumstances are keeping us from holding our New Year's Day Hair of the Dog and the TMC Sunrise at Old Tucson Trail Run (details below), so our first event will be April 23rd, with the first-ever Earth Day 5k at the Biosphere 2, a celebration of Earth Day and a fundraiser for the Biosphere 2 research projects.

Walk or run 'em all and you'll be fit, happy, and have a whole new wardrobe -- plus a bunch of our traditional souvenir coaster medals!

New Year's Day Hair of the Dog 8k
Cancelled for 2022 - but we'll be back in '23!

We're sorry to say that we're unable to produce the 2022 edition of the New Year's Day Hair of the Dog.

Run Tucson is a family entity, but this year we have family obligations and we can't get a crew together over the winter holidays to produce this event. We're sorry to let you down -- we know it's a fun way to kick off the New Year.

We're grateful to the ongoing support of our beneficiary, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and to our sponsor, Fleet Feet Tucson.

In the meantime, our beneficiary the Humane Society of Southern Arizona still needs support, so you're welcome to donate directly to them here.
TMC Sunrise at Old Tucson
Yup, another one bites the dust . . .

While we love this event, the famed Old Tucson Studios is still closed for operations and we can't produce the event in winter 2022.

We're working with Pima County on plans for continuing this fun-filled, family-friendly trail event.
