This Ramadan, we invite you to join us as we establish Zakat as a living institution across greater Chicagoland.
As part of the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago (CIOGC), Zakat Chicago, and no one else, is uniquely positioned to collect and distribute Zakat locally through a number of trusted partners and members of CIOGC.
Zakat Chicago believes that Zakat Giving and Distribution should be as well-established as the other pillars of Islam are, such as Salat, Fasting, and Hajj.
For this reason, Zakat Chicago is furthering its mission by centrally collecting and distributing Zakat, educating and facilitating Zakat Giving within our community, and coordinating between Zakat-collecting and distributing organizations.
