Other News

Thank you

My Epiphany family is the best. I want to thank everyone for their support. The loss of my father was sad, even if you know the time of life on earth is coming to an end. The phone calls, cards, flowers, and trees meant a lot. I cannot thank you all enough. It's a blessing knowing that I am loved by so many!

Peace and Love, Larry Wilcox

PASTORAL CARE

Support for Caregivers

Are you providing care for a loved one who is aging? Would you appreciate the opportunity to share experiences with others who are providing care to an aging loved one? If there is sufficient interest, we would like to start a virtual support group for caregivers of the aging in which they would have an opportunity to talk about the issues they encounter in caregiving and the feelings they are experiencing.

We are envisioning a group that would meet once-a-month on Zoom, possibly starting in August, to be facilitated by long-time Epiphanite, Nancy Thompson, who facilitates our Grief Group. If you think you might be interested, use your Realm login to contact Nancy Thompson, or let one of the staff know.

BUILDINGS & GROUNDS

Watering Volunteers Needed

Some of the trees planted in March of 2021 still need to be watered every ten days whenever there’s a lack of rain. John Yntema and Galo & Jeanette Hanson have been watering, but could use some help. People can volunteer for a period of time or "adopt" an area to keep watered. There are a few trees that need vines and other growth around them to be cut back. John Yntema tracks rain amounts from the rain gauge at church and will notify you. Contact Jeanette Hanson through Realm if you are interested in helping.
