The Numbers Are In...
What a year it has been! The RCIE ran 100 events during the 2019/2020 academic year, connecting with nearly 2,400 students and faculty. We organized our first ever RCIE Fall Fest, held the 2019 Idea Challenge, networked with entrepreneurs from across the country, navigated online programming amid COVID-19, and successfully ran the 13th annual Rohrer New Venture Competition virtually. We are excited for what is come next year!
Dr. Bodnar Receives National 2020 KEEN Rising Star Award
Dr. Cheryl Bodnar, associate professor of Experiential Engineering Education Department (ExEED), received the National 2020 KEEN Rising Star Award, which is given for extraordinary efforts to advance entrepreneurial mindset within engineering students. Congratulations, Dr. Bodnar!
Student Entrepreneur Featured on Rowan Today
Recent RCB alum Malicka Barro was featured in Rowan Today. Malicka, founder of Konay Spice, was selected to participate in RCIE's 2020 StartupRU Summer Accelerator Program and received an Honorable Mention in the 2020 Rohrer New Venture Competition. Read about her story here.
Topos Teas To Sell Directly to Consumers
In early June, Topos Teas founders and Rowan alums Mike Lombardo and Kayvon Jahanbakhsh will release their disruptive line of redesigned iced teas direct to doorsteps. I&E Faculty Certificate Program Completes 4th Cohort
We are pleased to announce that 18 Rowan faculty have successfully earned their certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship through the Faculty Certificate Program.
