FEBRUARY 2021 EDITION
Rowan Entrepreneurship Presents for 1 Million Cups Tampa
Rowan Entrepreneurship is thrilled to host 1 Million Cups (1MC) Tampa. 1MC is supported by the Kauffman Foundation and operates in more than 160 cities. This event is an opportunity for startups to present to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs.

Rowan students Jerah Siegal (Entrepreneurship '21), founder of Biodome, and Talia Tomarchio (Computer Science/Honors '21), co-founder of Steminist Squad, presented on February 17th. They each had six minutes to present their company and mission, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer. Check out a replay of their presentations here.

Luca Fischioni (Entrepreneurship '22) will emcee the March 24th event at 9AM which will feature presentations from Tanvi Koduru (Entrepreneurship '22), founder of 3D Confectionery, and Brandon Ottey (Entrepreneurship '21), founder of Clouds and Colors. Click here for more information and to register.

1MC is typically held locally but the shift to virtual presentations due to COVID-19 has allowed exploratory partnerships like this one possible. Dr. Eric Liguori, professor and Rohrer Chair of Entrepreneurship, stated, "The 1MC national network is a powerful resource for new founders looking to connect with communities across the nation". A huge thank you to the 1MC Tampa community for making this opportunity possible for our students! Click here to read the full story posted on Rowan Today.
