2023 AccelerateRU graduates 12 student startups
A dynamic cohort of 12 student startups, ranging from healthcare to CPG to technology ventures, has successfully completed RCIE's rigorous 2023 AccelerateRU summer accelerator program. Throughout the summer, these student entrepreneurs actively participated in virtual "Lunch and Learns," where they gained valuable insights into areas such as business planning, marketing, and sales, facilitated by industry experts.
The program concluded with a transformative, in-person experience – a two-day intensive startup bootcamp led by Topher Morrison, renowned for his expertise in perfecting business pitches. Under his guidance, the startups refined their pitches and honed their business identities.
As the accelerator chapter closes, the startups transition to the next phase of RCIE's StartupRU Roadmap to Success, where they will secure seed funding for their startups. This not only positions them for success in the upcoming Idea Challenge, New Venture Expo, and Rohrer New Venture Competition, but also opens doors to potential equity-based seed funding through the Rowan Innovation Venture Fund.
