Growing Through the Seasons with ICG
combines the magic of nature with the magic of childhood to create a child-centered learning environment full of imagination, exploration, and discovery. Ithaca Children's Garden is the classroom in which children will build a foundation of skills while forming a deep connection and lasting relationship with the natural world.  Following the rhythm of the seasons, our play-based curriculum allows the natural curiosity of young children to lead our explorations, experiments, and creative expressions.

Themes we'll explore include Who We Are, Our Community, What's Happening, and How We Are Connected. There will be plenty of time built in for wiggle and silly, songs and friendship, asking questions and getting dirty.

Our new indoor location at the Just Be Cause Center provides a home base and shelter from inclement weather. We aim to spend most of our time outdoors, in the Garden, which is a lovely 10 minute stroll down the Cayuga Waterfront Trail without ever crossing a street!
