Sustainable Gardens at Maddox ECE
Last week, students from the Sustainable Agriculture and Green Energy (SAGE) program at Colorado's Finest High School of Choice installed portable, indoor/outdoor gardens at Maddox Early Childhood Education (ECE) Center made from sheep troughs. The self-watering gardens were designed by a student in the SAGE program and the materials were purchased by a Discovery Education award won by ECE last spring. The ECE students can't wait to grow vegetables in their new gardens!

You can find more photos of the sheep trough gardens on our District Facebook page.
