CHURCH OF THE HOLY COMFORTER

May 16, 2024

This Sunday

This Sunday is the Day of Pentecost when we celebrate the gift of God’s Holy Spirit upon God’s people. We also will recognize our graduates during the service. Pentecost is considered the birthday of the Christian church so stay after worship for cake!  And don't forget to wear red!

This Sunday also marks the last day of Sunday School. A huge thank you to all those who volunteered to work with our children this year. See you in the fall!

The Rector’s Forum discussion on The Rule of Benedict: A Spirituality for the 21st Century will continue Sunday mornings at 9:15am on May 19 and 26.

“Meandering through Mark”: For June and July in The Rector’s Forum we will read and discuss the assigned lessons to be heard in worship for the day.
