A Word from our Board Chair

2018 has been an exciting year for TeamSmile. We successfully ran 29 programs with a combination of partnerships with NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS teams. Through our outreach, we have provided free dental care to over 5,000 children amounting to roughly $2 million in free dental care and oral health education. During 2018, we surpassed our 180th program and have now – collectively, over the life of TeamSmile – served over 30,000 children and provided over $17 million in free dental care and oral health education.

All of this happened due to the generous donations made by many generous donors throughout the country. It is with your support, that we are able to continue with the mission that was started by Dr. William Busch back in 2007 and have expanded our footprint moving forward. As we close out 2018 and enter 2019, we ask that you keep TeamSmile in mind as you consider making year-end charitable donations. Every donation makes an impact and enables TeamSmile to continue to generate smiles on children’s faces while they recieve much needed dental care. 

You may make your tax-deductible contribution through our website at www.teamsmile.org/donate or by sending a check (made out to TeamSmile) to 2000 Swift Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116. Contributions received by December 31st, will be tax-deductible in the 2018 calendar year. Please know, that your support is greatly appreciated.

Kellie Reneau Jardon
Kellie Reneau Jardon has been a part of TeamSmile for 10 years. When she started with TeamSmile, the organization was hosting 5 programs per year. With the growing partnership in the sports industry and the shared passion of making a positive impact on children’s oral health, TeamSmile has grown to 29 programs per year. 

Her goal is that everyone involved – the children, the volunteers, and the team – feel valued and feel they are making a difference, while enjoying their experience with TeamSmile. She has two daughters that she hopes will one-day follow in her footsteps by finding a career where going to work every day is an honor.
