End of School Year Updates
from Texas College Bridge
As we approach the end of this school year, we want to provide you with additional resources to support your students’ completion of Texas College Bridge courses, including expanded drop-in office hours for live support plus an additional reporting-focused PLC meeting for district coordinators.

At this time, we’d also like to thank all of you for your continued support of Texas College Bridge and our shared mission to help more academically at-risk students get college ready. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to your students and want to wish everyone a lovely summer holiday.
Certificate of Completion details

Congratulations to the 75,000 plus students that have earned a Certificate of Completion for Texas College Bridge Math and/or English courses. These students have earned a TSI exemption at more than 90 colleges across the state.

Note on student details:
Colleges may not accept the Certificate of Completion if the student details do not match the official school record. This may be their first and last name but more importantly their date of birth.

We have over 3,000 students with their birth year as 2022/2023. These students need to update their name and/or birthday in EdReady to ensure their certificate is generated with correct details.

If the student has already earned their certificate, and their information is wrong, they will need to complete a form to have this updated.

Here are useful links available in the student section of our resource tab:

Summer Schedule

The final day for students to complete work in EdReady for the 2022-2023 school year will be Friday, July 28

Following that date, Texas College Bridge courses will be offline and unavailable from July 29 – August 6 while we transition to the 2023-2024 school year.

Any students who return to Texas College Bridge in the fall will be starting the year with a clean slate. This allows students to retake the initial diagnostic for each stage so that their study path can accurately reflect their current incoming knowledge.

Please note that completion needs to be posted to the student transcript PRIOR to graduation. If a senior completes courses in the summer, they would be considered a summer graduate.

Reminder: English Essay Completion

For those of you with English course students, please remember that in order to complete the course your students must also complete the essay assignment. We currently have just over 10,000 students who only need their essay completed to earn their Certificate of Completion for English.

Full instructions for completing the essay assignment in EdReady can be found here.

Instructions for accessing student essays submitted in EdReady, if a teacher does not receive a notification, can be found here.

NOTE: If a student submits their essay directly to the teacher for grading outside of EdReady, after grading, the teacher will need to manually submit the grade into the EdReady platform.

Instructions for manually reporting essay grades in EdReady can be found here.
How to View Completion in Reports: Group Summary Report

The easiest and best way to view student completion through Reports Help is to run a Group Summary report. This report lets you see your students’ course details in a single consolidated view and can be viewed online or exported to an Excel file for offline viewing.

A video and step-by-step instructions on how to access a Group Summary report are available on the Help Center here.
