Also, Farmer Nate is gearing up to roll out some brand new bacon flavors! You won't want to miss them but you'll have to wait another week! In the meantime, make sure to grab some of this month's special - Garlic Chipotle! It's sure to warm your mouth and your belly!

GARLIC MAY BE PLANTED ANY TIME FROM NOW UNTIL THE GROUND FREEZES SOLID SO THAT IT BECOMES TOO HARD TO WORK. MULCH WITH LEAVES, STRAW, HAY OR GRASS FOR A HARVEST NEXT SUMMER. EACH PLANTED CLOVE WILL PRODUCE A WHOLE BULB. All the garlic we grow and sell may be eaten or planted, so stock up for the holidays and beyond and put some in the ground. See you at market! Come see us Sunday at the Market!

Get a Pre-Winter Nutritional Boost
It's official. Cold days are ahead. This week we had some of our lowest, temperatures yet. The heavy frosts are not far off. Many of the beautiful, delicious fall vegetables will continue to thrive, hence our ability to offer a FALL CSA. Yet, sadly, the delicate vegetables, some of your favorite head lettuces, salads, and leafy greens have a harder time fending frost off and they may not be around as long as you hope. Now's the time to stock up on your favorite nutritional friends! And once you do, here's a few ways to enjoy:
- Swiss Chard + Roasted Vegetables
- Kale + Butternut Squash, Chickpeas and Tahini
- Arugula + Grape and Avocado
- Chopped Romaine + Pears, Cranberries, Pecans and Bacon
- Cabbage + Apple and Kale
See you at market!
Ridge Valley Farm
We will not be at the Market this week. We will see you next weekend.
Saxman Bread
Saxman Breads has made some exciting changes this year. I've changed the flour I use from all natural flour to "Organic" flour for all my breads. Also, Saxman Breads will be introducing assorted muffins to start your day along with some new breads for this upcoming season. Saxman Breads will continue to focus on traditional European hard crusted breads that are mixed and baked from scratch daily using organic flour, with no additives or preservatives of any kind. I'll continue to bring a wide selection of classic breads to market each week including: Baguette, Boule, Epi, Sourdough, Rustic Italian, Ciabatta, Fougasse, Focaccia, Farm Grain, Honey Wheat, and Cinnamon Raisin Bread, New York rye, Sweet breads and Muffins. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday!
The Seed Farm
The Seed Farm will be bringing in the Halloween not-so-scary with fun temporary tattoos this Sunday! We will also have our standard huge array of greens, as well as broccoli, cabbage, Napa cabbage, winter radishes, rutabaga, potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, and so much more. You might even get to see Farmer Amy in her awesome vegetable-themed costume. See you Sunday!
Stagecoach Orchard Apiary
Switchback Pizza Company
This will be the last week Switchback Pizza will be at the Market until Spring. The cooler temperatures make it hard to regulate the oven. Be sure to come see us for lunch or dinner at our shop on Jubilee Street in Emmaus!
Teprovich Farms and Bakery
Wild Fox Farm
We will be bringing our last round of FRESH CHICKENS to market this week. Whole birds, as well as parts will be available. Take this opportunity to stock up, and enjoy the freshness of pasture-raised chicken all winter long.
Fresh Baby Ginger will also be available this week, in addition to lots of tasty veggies. There's nothing like a beautiful platter full of fall vegetables to offset the over-abundance of sugar at your Halloween party.
Also, if you were hoping to join our Winter CSA, there's still room, but only a little bit of time.
Sign up today to eat delicious fresh veggies all winter long.
