Emily Fall News
It's Fall. With it comes drier air and for many of you, drier skin. Time to be more consistent with your skincare and prevent cracks and dryness this season and in winter with your favorite Emily balms and soaps. We recommend washing with our gentle soaps and body washes and applying a thin layer of your favorite skin soother 3-4x per day to keep your skin supple and happy through the winter.
Price Increase Nov. 2023
As we mentioned last month, it's been six years since a price increase. We were able to hold prices steady during the pandemic, but NONE of our suppliers were. Oils, herbs, jars, labels and just about everything else went up. We absorbed the increases, but they kept happening. So, we are letting you know, well in advance, that we will have a price increase in MID-NOVEMBER. This means we are giving you, our regular customers, plenty of lead time to stock up (at the old prices).
Expiration Dates??
Anyone stocking up will want to think about expiration dates. We have good news for you. The balms are anhydrous (without water) and the beeswax is antiseptic and many of the herbal ingredients are antimicrobial and antibacterial. This means that if you store them sealed in a cool, dry area you can expect the products to last AT MINIMUM a full year.
If you want to stock up, that's fine with us. We are doubling production for the next two months to make sure we can keep up. If you want to buy lovely holiday gifts like our room sprays or candles or our amazing skincare and soaps for loved ones, you can do so ahead of time. We will make more. This very moderate increase will allow us to keep going and to keep making the most skin soothing balms and soaps and to offer new products too.
New Sage Spray
Our new Sage Your Space Room spray should be available by the time of our next newsletter. We can't wait to share it with you and get your feedback. It will be perfect for the Fall and Winter.
