National Prematurity Awareness Month is happening now. Healthy Start has our butterfly tradition coming up to raise awareness of prematurity in Martin County.

November is Prematurity Awareness Month

November is National Prematurity Awareness Month, and November 17th is World Prematurity Day. Every year, we place butterflies in front of Cleveland Clinic North Hospital to symbolize every baby born prematurely in Martin County. In 2022, we had 126 babies born before 39 weeks, a slight increase from last year's numbers. We continue on our mission to ensure babies are born healthy, and we are proud to work towards improvements on this critical milestone.

The unconditional love for our babies knows no boundaries, whether they're here on Earth or in our hearts. This couldn't have been more apparent than at this year's remembrance event.

November Strong Like A Mother Group

Join us Saturday, November 18th at our Healthy Start office (735 S. Colorado, Suite #110) for Parentsgiving! All year you give every bit of yourself to your families, and now it's time to give thanks to YOU!

This is welcome to both moms and dads and will include TWO raffle items! One family will be going home with a $50 gift card to add to their Thanksgiving feast, and another family will be going home with a Thanksgiving turkey! Please be sure we register, bring your kiddos and a friend or two, and let's feast!
