Dear Reader

Yesterday, all the main players were summoned to court in the Emerald-trial as a result of the ongoing Emerald-investigation into forgeries, bribery and tax fraud.

The next court date will be sometime in October. We do not envy the players in this position having to wait so long to have their day in court to defend themselves against the charges. Quite a long time to have the 'Sword of Damocles' hanging over their heads.

In any event, the next step is to hear this week if the Common Court of Justice will allow the Prosecutor's Office to further investigate the harbour and its group of companies.

Have a great day and do enjoy reading our news articles in this edition.
