If you would like additional information about what you can do at home to help your child with feeding challenges, please join our Parent Training on May 23, Food Selectivity - Strategies to Support Your Child at Home, by Lexie Hopkins, MS, CCC-SLP. This workshop is being offered remotely on Zoom at 12:30pm, and in person at our Kingston School and remotely at 6:30pm.

Increasing Your Child's Independence

Daily living skills are those skills that are used every day to maintain health, safety, and hygiene. Many children with autism often require extra support to complete these skills in both the home and school settings.

These skills, such as toothbrushing, feeding, and dressing, can be stressful to both parents and children when large amounts of help is needed, or daily routines are time consuming.
