In this AIAA NCS Speaker Session Ben Jimenez from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) will share insight into his route through the industry, how being an aerospace engineer impacted that journey, and the role that AIAA has played in shaping his professional trajectory. This session will also include a question and answer session to provide attendees with career insights to guide their own professional path. Ben Jimenez is a current Project Leader at BCG where he serves as advisor to aerospace and defense C-suite executives on digital strategy topics. At the start of his career, Ben served as an aerospace engineer contractor with the US Army Research Laboratory performing computational fluid and structural analysis before pivoting to work at Whirlpool Corporation leading a team of engineers and publishing five patents. It is through this unique professional journey and his extensive involvement in various AIAA leadership roles that Ben is able to bring a unique perspective on navigating the Aerospace Industry.
