Fall is here, and the new season always reminds us of change, redemption, and the opportunity for new beginnings. It’s never too late to shed the past, pivot your trajectory, and start on a new journey. For many of our neighbors, their story follows a similar narrative. Even now, we have individuals actively participating in programs like Elevate Work and Elevate Entrepreneurs, who decided there was no better time to start anew than the present moment. Similar to autumn and the turning of the leaves, life-change is a slow burn that doesn’t happen overnight. But soon, we find that the decisions we make, the work we do, and the community we lean into today, is what sets the stage for us to bloom in our seasons to come. | |

Fifteen Thanksgivings later and the tradition continues! This year’s Love Your Neighbors Thanksgiving is back for an in-person, family-style lunch including everyone’s favorite Thanksgiving dishes. This is a free Thanksgiving meal held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Parrish Center at 202 Vaughn Road, Branson, on Thanksgiving Day for all of our neighbors in our community. The event will last from 11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M., and it will be a meal our neighbors and their families will cherish for years to come. Our first class of Elevate Entrepreneurs is moving full-steam ahead, and in no time, we’ll see new businesses springing up all around our community. We’re hosting four upcoming informational sessions to begin accepting applications for our spring Elevate Entrepreneurs course. Our first two info sessions will be held on October 13th, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Our second set of info sessions will be held on November 3rd, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. 18 students are taking steps towards pursuing purposeful and dignified employment through our Elevate Work program. As they’re equipped with valuable resources and helpful knowledge on finding and keeping purposeful work, they’re also developing relationships with their fellow classmates and mentors that will last a life-time. Graduation is right around the corner! We can’t wait to celebrate with our Elevate Work graduates come November 9th. | |

Congratulations to WonderWorks for being our Summer 2022 Up with Kids! Campaign top donor! Because of the funds raised through their participation, we’re able to continue to provide physical, nutritional, emotional, spiritual, and educational support to our area kids. WonderWorks raised approximately $3,000 for our community’s kiddos! We’re thankful for WonderWorks and all of our Up with Kids! participants for their support and love for our community. | |
