HELLO!

A NOTE FROM Miss Kempton

With all the conveniences and quick fixes of today's world, raising resilient children can be challenging.  The strength and will students display isn’t so much about the end result or the outcome, but more about the process that gets them to the end.  Kids today are accustomed to life moving quickly.  They have access to information with just a few clicks and the idea of having to wait can be foreign to them.

Raising resilient or gritty kids that can push through adversity or continue to push on when something is challenging is important. “You need to give them space to struggle. You can’t bubble wrap them or hover like a helicopter over them.  You need to trust them to come out stronger on the other side….And you need to trust God.” Dr. Kathy Koch

Encourage, believe in, and support them. But don’t do it for them. Grow their self confidence, by demonstrating and showing them you believe they are capable.

Please welcome Madalyn Koon!

Character Trait

"Joyfulness"

The Joy of the Lord is my Strength!

We See You!

Safety is first and foremost. We have some parents dropping students by the glass doors. Some students are crossing alone through parking lots. Other parents are giving our TAs a hard time because they are asked to wait. Our new cameras can spot those who are rushing and putting others at risk. Please be courteous and keep everybody safe.

Why School Uniforms?

Uniforms create and promote a sense of school unity and school spiirit. They also add to a sense of disciplined learning in school. When there is this type of defiance to the uniform policy, our sense of unity isdiminished.

Please refer to the link below if you, as a parent, are unsure of our dress code policies. Please know that we care for our students and parents and we want to function as a true team in Christ, instead of individuals.
