How Will the Citizen Survey Help?
As an attorney, a longtime resident of Juno Beach and Chair of the Planning and Zoning Board, I do have my list of priorities for our Town and for Town Council. However, I believe that citizens deserve to be heard. Your input on the survey will help me to represent you better on Council.
Proactive Instead of Reactive!
We need to focus more on solving problems and not spend so time on administrative matters, that should be left to Town Staff. For example, we have to further address the looming annexation brought to our doorstep by Palm Beach Gardens, and work to mitigate the impact of the potential for twelve-story workforce housing projects, whose approval could be fast-tracked according to the current state law.
What are Town Council Priorities?
The Town Council every year has a goal setting workshop, that pays a professional facilitator to help the Council members with prioritizing and ranking their goals for the next year. For the past several years, the follow-up on the goal setting has left much to be desired. It is through an understanding of citizen priorities that, as a candidate for Town Council, I will better represent you.
