Summer Mission Appeal: Thank You!

Thanks to all in the two Oratory Parishes who contributed last weekend at Mass and through PushPay in support of the Diocese of Lucena in the Philippines as part of Fr. Warren Puno's visit to our parishes. St. Boniface raised $1,272 and Assumption raised $2,816, which includes $1,400 in gifts raised by Girlie Gebabe from her friends and family. (Wow! Thank you, Girlie!) Everyone's generosity in support of the missions is deeply appreciated.

Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

A holy day of obligation. Masses will be celebrated at the following times:

August 14: 6:30pm at Assumption

August 15: 8:00am at Assumption

12:10pm at St. Boniface



Since this is the patronal feast of Assumption Parish, after the 6:30pm Mass, we will gather in the hall for wine, soft drinks, appetizers and dessert. If you are able to bring one of these items, please sign-up in the rear of the parish hall or email the office at info@oratorychurch.org

Social Justice Action Donations Opportunity

Our neighbor Catholic parish, St. Mary's Star of the Sea (SMSS), is hosting an ongoing migrant pop-up shop. SMSS invites all who can donate the following essential items:.


Donations needed:

  • Hangers
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Diapers
  • NEW underwear
  • Women's shorts & skirts
  • Men's small and medium sizes (all types of clothing)
  • Clothing for school-aged children (all types of clothing)
  • Large bags (i.e Fresh Direct bags)


Donations can be dropped off at the Rectory 467 Court Street, Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 11:30am, 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Thanks again.
