We look forward to hosting our last Northern California School to enjoy a virtual field trip this school year later this week.

MEET OUR VIRTUAL GUIDES
Serving Over 15,000 Students Virtually This Year
Mission San Juan Capistrano's Virtual Guides have been an invaluable asset this past year. The Mission first began offering virtual live online guided field trips as a pilot program in the Spring of 2020, later expanding the virtual program along to include even more distance learning offerings for the 2021-2022 school year. When the Mission's education team pivoted teaching to virtual, staff gained a whole new skill set. They became technology experts, camera operators, on-camera personalities, editors and more. Through their hard work, the Mission has served more than 15,000 students virtually so far this school year with 28,000 to be served by year's end. Meet the hard-working team behind these one-of-a-kind virtual experiences.

MISSION DEBUTS NEW EXHIBIT
Resurgam: The Rise of the Mission in the 1920s Exhibit
Plan your visit this summer to view Mission San Juan Capistrano's newest exhibit, "Resurgam: The Rise of the Mission in the 1920s" featuring historic photographs from the Mission's archival collection.

The 1920s was a great time for renewal and restoration at Mission San Juan Capistrano led by then Pastor Father St. John O'Sullivan (Mission Pastor 1914-1933) and Charles Lummis, Founder of the California Landmarks Club. This important time in the Mission's history ushered in the era of restoration, conservation and stewardship that continues to this very day.

The exhibit is on display Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is included with the price of admission.
