Rep. Robin Lundstrom and Rep. Jim Dotson recently visited with high school students about topics like education options, charter schools and higher education funding during Gen Z GOP's Northwest Arkansas Education Summit at Har-Ber High School in Springdale. Lundstrom represents District 87 which includes a portion of Benton and Washington County. Dotson represents District 93, which includes portions of Benton County.

Another education option for Arkansas: Microschools

A microschool is a group of 5-10 learners who meet in person, usually in the home of their learning guide.

We are proud to administer the program for the state with 100% of all state funding going directly to scholarships. All administrative costs of managing the scholarship for the state is paid for through a private philanthropic grant.

In Iowa, a bill offering education money to parents to use with more discretion and opening the door to easier charter school approval is waiting for debate on the state Senate floor after passing a committee vote in late January. Iowa is one of at least 20 states that have introduced bills supporting school choice in 2021.
