From the Desk of
Senator  Ed Harbison

While the summer season comes to an end, the excitement and buzz of a new school year begins! As some enjoyed vacations and a relaxing break, Georgia government was in full swing, beginning anew on July 1 with the start of our new Fiscal Year.

The first day of July is also the day when most laws passed in the previous session go into effect. Although we review hundreds of bills, education is always a top priority for the General Assembly. Read my update below to see the latest in education issues that have been signed into law!

As always, thank you for your support and allowing me the opportunity to serve our great district. If you need anything, please contact me anytime. God bless you my friends!
