We took a taxi from the Malecon and when we arrived, found we were the only visitors so far at 9:45AM. First our friends took us all around the facilities. We were dumbfounded! Having seen it only when passing by on the road, it sure didn't look like much but once inside.....

Ticket to Ride our Bus Routes Project?
Cathy Yearout

Julie and I would like to publish information about the Salinas/La Libertad/Ballenita/Santa Elena local bus routes in the new Coastal NewsLetter. We are looking for volunteers to ride the local buses from beginning to end.
You would need to notate where the bus started and the "end of the line" before it begins the return route. Mark down major landmarks (Salinas Mercado, Super Maxi, El Paseo Mall, La Libertad El Centro/Mercado, Ballenita Bus Station, neigborhoods) and any other locations that people might be interested in. The town - area where the bus turned around in and approximate time it took you to get to these locations.
I would like to start with the number 11, 12 and 13 buses but if we get enough volunteers we'll just keep adding to the information. Pick a buddy to take along and make a fun morning/afternoon of it. Let us know if you are interested and which bus line you would like to cover.
Email us at coastal.newsletter.team@gmail.com
Thanks for your help!
