AHHS Class of 2024!

The Alexander Hamilton High School Class of 2024, along with faculty, family, friends, and community supporters, gathered on the athletic field to celebrate their graduation. Some had fans, others used the event program to block the sun from their eyes and all had enormous smiles on their faces on the evening of June 25. Click HERE to read more!

Grady sixth graders say "farewell" to elementary school

It was a full house in the gym of the Alice E. Grady Elementary School as friends and family, and the entire sixth grade class, gathered to celebrate their hard work and the change they will face at the start of the next school year when they move up to seventh grade.  Click HERE to read more!

Off they go! Dixson first graders move on up


On June 24, family and friends braved the breeze and gathered on the lawn of the primary school for two ceremonies recognizing the hard work of the first graders as they begin the next step. The events included kind words for the students and a special musical performance of “Dixson Spirit Way,” an original song written and led by music teacher Chris Funke and teachers were presented with flower bouquets from their students. AHHS Class of 2024 Senior Walk

Several members of the AHHS Class of 2024 visited the district's youngest students at Dixson for a Senior Farewell Walk just days before graduation! The young students clapped and held up signs of congratulations as the older students received some high fives and hugs from former teachers!

AHHS Valedictorian and Salutatorian were excited to say “thank you”

Friends Jacqueline Dutan and Daisy Cuenca had both gone through the Elmsford Union Free School District together and on June 25, they enjoyed one more activity together — graduation. The two had been named the Class of 2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian respectively.

Special guests were treated to a yummy breakfast as part of "Donuts for Dad!" at Dixson as a special treat right before Father's Day.

AHHS celebrates recent inductees into the National Honor Society

Several students at Alexander Hamilton High School were recognized and celebrated for their academic achievement and sworn into the National Honor Society during a special ceremony held on June 4.

A fond farewell, district celebrates recent retirees

There was an abundance of emotions during the June 12 Board of Education meeting as the community celebrated and congratulated its retirees. The audience was grateful for their years of service, and those being celebrated admitted it was tough to move on, but it was time.

Our Prom 2024 attendees dodged some raindrops and celebrated when the sun came out as they met at Alexander Hamilton High School for some photos and fun with friends before being whisked away to dine and dance the night away!

Grady Leadership Council featured in special coverage

Dixson Drama Club presented "It's All Good in the Neighborhood!"

Bravo to the members of the Dixson Drama Club for their adorable performance of "It's All Good in Pete's Neighborhood!" The club performed several skits involving "Pete," including "Bedtime Blues," "I Love My White Shoes," "The New Guy," "My Four Groovy Buttons," "The Magical Sunglasses" and "Rocking in our School Shoes."

Coding Club teaches new ways to look at the world

The AHHS Coding Club is new this year and was born out of student’s interest in learning to code.

A night of music and celebration

Each spring the district school choirs and bands perform in the Milton A. Williams, Jr. District Concert. The late Mr. Williams was a longtime Elmsford staff member who taught music for 40 years. If he had been there, it’s safe to say he would have been proud.
