The Economic Club of San Francisco meets in the Clipper Ship Conference Room at the Chancellor Hotel on Union Square at 433 Powell Street in San Francisco on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 7 PM to 10 PM.
John Dennis, the Republican Candidate running for election to the seat held by Nancy Pelosi in the U.S. House of Representatives, has been invited to address the members of the Economic Club during the October 5th meeting.
Money Seminar on October 5th
Kirk Mackenzie 2Kirk MacKenzie, author of the book "Money:Defending your Prosperity", will present a free seminar during the regular meeting of the Economic Club on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held in the Clipper Room of the Chancellor Hotel on Union Square at 433 Powell Street in San Francisco. Seating capacity is limited. Kirk MacKenzie has researched and studied the subject of "Money" for several decades. He offers his insights and predictions in the seminar. As a former executive for several Silicone Valley corporation, he has first hand experience how the present monetary system effects the capital structure of technology companies, as well as the savings of individuals.
Mr. MacKenzie now operates his own Business Brokerage Company.
The Economic Club of San Francisco is a reading and discussion club open to anyone interested in political economy, monetary systems and tax policy. An academic background is not required to become a member, however some familiarity with the subject of economics is necessary to participate meaningfully in the discussions. The club is a no-fee, non-voting membership organization. We invite interested persons to join.
