Travel Updates from TSA
This illustration depicts a barefoot woman holding a tray with her shoes and necklace at an airport security checkpoint.
The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) mission is to protect our nation’s transportation systems so that we all can travel safely.

All travelers are required to undergo screening, but TSA has developed screening procedures to ensure that travelers and their associated medical items and devices can be screened regardless of the disability or medical condition. TSA also has programs to assist travelers.

Just Returned...Inaugural Symphony of The Seas
I was invited to attend a 2 night Inaugural Sailing of RCCL's newest addition to their fleet, Symphony of The Seas. Symphony is the 4th Oasis Class Ship and currently holds the distinguished honor of being the largest cruise ship in the world! She sails round trip from Port Miami and has a brand new state of the art terminal to home port in. Port Miami is an amazing technological feat.

Imagine getting ready to board your ship and there aren't any lines or, when ready to disembark at the end of the cruise, no paperwork to fill out. Face recognition allows you to bypass immigration and get to the airport. Large elevators as well!

Symphony is a beautiful ship with outstanding entertainment including a full Broadway production of Hairspray, a breathtaking show, Hiro, in the Aqua Theatre and a brand new production in the Royal Theatre called Flight. This was my favorite! There is also the Comedy Club, Ice Show and much, much more. We enjoyed a new dining venue, El Loco Fresh, serving Mexican favorites located on Deck 15 (Sports Deck). It is complimentary and I'm sure it will prove to be very popular.

Remember, RCCL has the widest hallways at sea which means mobility equipment can maneuver with ease even when the cleaning carts are out and about.

Think about booking your next cruise on Symphony of The Seas!
Cruise Planners 25th Birthday Celebration
I'll be heading back to Ft. Lauderdale November 26 for Cruise Planner's Convention 2018 and to celebrate their 25th Birthday. I look forward to CPCon every year where I get important updates from vendors, enjoy networking and get to spend time with the Cruise Planner's family. I love being with my fellow CP travel advisors and having the opportunity to share everyone's successes. As part of our conference, we will board Celebrity Cruise Line's newest ship, Celebrity Edge, for a two night inaugural. Celebrity Edge is said to be a real game changer with all kinds of new features. I can't wait to experience them for myself. Stay tuned for a report in next month's newsletter.
