We Make YOUR Travel Plans EASY
Oh my! Is it really the end of June already?

I apologize for not sending a newsletter in May but I don't think I was home long enough to write one. The first weekend found us in Edson, NJ at the New York Metro Abilities Expo where we saw so many of you and made lots of new friends. That was immediately followed by our mid-year Cruise Planners Conference and two nights on the inaugural of NCL Bliss. Read more about this magnificent ship below. From there, we headed to Los Angeles for a family get together and my son's college graduation. Came home and departed for South Africa via Dubai two days later. Arrived home June 8 and took about a week to recover and here we are! Review of South Africa trip below.

UPDATE...DEB’S MEDICAL NEWS! I tried to open the hatch of my van last Friday when I stepped back and lost my balance. My driveway is slanted and very small. I landed on my back and tried to avoid hitting my head by rolling to my right side. I broke my hip and had a hip replacement on Sunday. Pretty bummed out. There are many precautions I must follow for the next 12 weeks including no reaching, bending, twisting or turning. I’m a little perplexed as to how I will do my transfers and put on my prosthetics. Just “doing it differently” may be a little more difficult this time around.

NCL Bliss Review
NCL Bliss delivered everything that was promised but my favorite experience was the Broadway Production of Jersey Boys.

I really loved it!

Accessible South Africa Trip Review
Twenty-two of us met in Durban, South Africa recently for the adventure of a lifetime. Ages ranged from 13 to 79 and all had a great time. This trip was definitely outside of my comfort zone but I found it amazing to be so close to the majestic creatures that make their home in the African bush.

We spent the majority of our time in Kwazulu-Natal, also know as The Zulu Kingdom. As we drove to the bush country for the first time, we were in awe when the driver stopped the vehicle and there, right in front of us, was a herd of elephants. It simply takes your breath away. The next day we were entranced by the presence of zebras, gorillas and water buffalo. Other days we saw giraffes, baboons, warthogs and rhinos. All were spectacular.

During our visit to St. Lucia, we took a boat ride where we shared the waters with hippos and crocodiles. To see these animals in their natural habitat was quite an experience.
The trip ended with 4 nights in Cape Town by the V & A Waterfront. I truly love this city and could have spent more time here. We visited Table Mountain and took the cable car to the top. Another day took us to the Penguin Colony where we got up close and personal with these delightful creatures. Our last full day was spent visiting some wineries. Each day was more spectacular than the rest. We were blessed with perfect weather as well. Lots of great shopping opportunities at the Art Collective by the waterfront. Everyone brought home amazing pictures and memories of a lifetime.
