Here we are beginning the last week of January 2018. I hope everyone had happy holidays filled with family and friends. Steve and I actually took a vacation all by ourselves! We loved spending two nights at Pelican Grand Beach Resort on the ocean in Ft. Lauderdale and then truly enjoyed seven nights onboard Holland America's newest ship, Ms. Koningsdam. Several of my clients have sailed on her during this past year of her inaugural season and have loved her as well. Please read my review of our trip below. We had a quiet New Year's and I spent time getting organized for a busy year ahead. 2017 was a very successful year for me and I'm proud to say that I have achieved Millionaire Club status with Cruise Planners for the third year straight. I owe this success to all of you for your loyalty and trust and allowing me to help plan your vacations. A heartfelt thanks to all of you. What's Next ???

We're getting ready to join 47 of you in Miami on February 1 and then sail away on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of The Seas. We are very excited to be cruising for 9 nights with port stops in Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba and Labadee. Plenty of time to also enjoy some lazy days at sea (my favorite!). After we get home, it's off to Abilities Expo. Next stop...Los Angeles, February 24, 25, 26, 2018. Los Angeles Convention Center. Mark your calendars and come visit us!

Here are our trip updates for 2018 and 2019...we just had a cancellation for South Africa (May 23 - June 8) so call now if interested. I have one available inside accessible stateroom for Alaska (Aug. 4 - 11). I know my website says both of these trips are sold out but, as of now, I have these two opportunities available. Very limited space available for our New England Cruise (Oct. 7 - 14). We do have good availability for our New Year's Eve Cruise on RCCL's Liberty of The Seas, round-trip Galveston, Dec. 30, 2018 - Jan. 6, 2019. I can't wait to celebrate New Year's Eve with YOU! Our 2019 European Adventure, June 14 - 26, on Celebrity Reflection from Dublin to Amsterdam is almost sold out. I have two Sky Suites, two Aqua Suites, an inside and an ocean view available. We will offer accessible shore excursions as well as a pre-cruise stay in Dublin and post-cruise stay in Amsterdam. We are also taking reservations for our amazing New Zealand land trip, March 28 - April 16, 2019. See both North and South Islands and be charmed by the nicest people you will ever meet. Tips on Tipping

I'd be rich if I had a dollar every time I get asked the question, "How much should we tip?" There are so many people that we encounter along the way when we travel that expect and deserve tips so I thought I would include an excellent article I recently read that addresses this topic. It even includes advise on how much to tip the wheelchair pushers at the airport! Be sure to add getting lots of small bills to your "to do" list before leaving home on your next adventure.

How Much Should I Tip?

Need a Scooter? Do you need to rent a scooter or other mobility equipment for your next cruise or land trip? Be sure and let us know and we can make arrangements for you through Special Needs Group. Standard and heavy duty scooters, wheelchairs, hospital beds, hoyer lifts, lift chairs, oxygen and more are all possibilities for you when you travel.

Our Christmas Cruise Ms. Koningsdam Steve and I haven't taken a cruise without many of you along in quite a while. We missed you! We always have so much fun with all of you and that special magic you create was missing. However, I needed some rest and relaxation and that's what I got. We had no schedules and no shore excursions and we just came and went as we pleased. Of course, Steve doesn't miss meals so we certainly had plenty of those but enjoyed dining when we wanted each evening.
