SOUTH AFRICA 2019 IS NOW OPEN FOR RESERVATIONS
Depart USA October 11 and return October 26, 2019

Please visit our website and click on Group Trips for itinerary and pricing.

Please note that we have only 4 accessible rooms still available. Only 12 lucky travelers will get the opportunity to be on this trip! Our preference is that everyone travel with a companion.
We also request that everyone travel with your own mobility equipment as we will not be renting equipment. (we may assist you with rentals on a case by case situation).

We are looking into trip possibilities for 2020 and welcome your suggestions. The deciding factors for group trips are the availability of accessible accommodations and transportation.

Government Shutdown
The Effects on Travel
Air tickets or boarding pass, passports, touchscreen smartphone with online airline tickets booking or reservation internet application, magnetic compass, credit cards and pen on world geographic map atlas
The effects of the current Government Shutdown are widespread but we will focus here on the effect it is having on travel. Flights are running on time unless there are the usual weather delays. TSA agents are considered essential so many are still working. However, many agents are calling in sick forcing major airports to close some of their security lines making wait times extra long. For those of us with disabilities using mobility equipment or having implanted devices such as pacemakers, the wait time can be very frustrating as most of us need to be hand screened. With a shortage of TSA agents, it's difficult to get someone to come over in a timely manner to screen us. The wait is always long for females as their seems to be a shortage of female agents. So, expect it to be worse now. Pack an extra dose of patience and keep smiling.

If you need to get a new or renewed passport, do it in a timely manner and don't wait to the last minute. The government is processing passports but we never know if that will change.

Plan Your Vacations NOW for 2019
dream summer vacation travel and go on holiday cruise to paradise
Now is the time to get a jump start on planning your vacations for 2019 and 2020 as well. Especially if you are thinking about Alaska for this summer or any trips over holidays such as spring break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Accessible accommodations sell out quickly and we don't want anyone to be disappointed.

Thinking of Alaska? Alaska has proven to be the best destination for people with disabilities. Most ships plying the waters of Southeast Alaska have excellent accessibility and offer many shore excursions suitable for both full time and part time wheelchair/scooter users. The popular Alaska cruise tour options also do a fantastic job of providing accessibility for all hotels and sightseeing venues. We are your Alaska Experts and can help you choose the right ship and itinerary resulting in an outstanding experience.
