CA Summit on Generative AI

The Joint California Summit on Generative AI will focus on how the State can best use Generative AI to better serve the people of California and the impacts of GenAI on California and its workforce. AI is profoundly changing how we learn, communicate, and engage with the world. Join this livestream discussion with dynamic, thought-provoking panels on May 29th!

Visit the Prescott Night Market

East Bay EDA is a proud partner for the Prescott Night Market, a new gathering place that will come alive once a month this summer on Thursday nights from 4 – 8 PM to unite residents, food makers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and local businesses in celebration of West Oakland’s rich and diverse community. The first three night markets occur during Oakland Baller’s home games! Learn more.

State of California Invests in Jobs

As part of the California Jobs First initiative, Governor Gavin Newsom announced in April that the state awarded $120 million in tax credits to eight innovative companies. It will generate more than 2,100 full-time jobs and bring in an estimated $15.5 billion in private investment over the next five years. DOE Boost is a partnership between Sandia National Laboratories and FedTech that brings national labs, startups, academia, and entrepreneurs together to find solutions to big community-based energy challenges.
