"Keeping in Touch" Celebrates Earth Day.
Greetings, Tutors!

Environmental issues are interesting topics for tutoring. It is not difficult to engage students, as the environment is a global- and universally-relevant subject. Earth Day promotes awareness of environmental protection and earth conservation. It's the perfect opportunity to address important concepts, such as going green and reducing, reusing, and recycling.

For the last 52 years, Earth Day has been observed on April 22, and now more than 193 countries celebrate our planet and commit to taking action to protect it! T o learn more about Earth Day 2022, check out EarthDay.org.

National Volunteer month takes place in April and is dedicated to honoring volunteers. We commemorate this month by recognizing the tremendous impact you have had in helping students improve their English language skills and furthering their understanding of American culture. You are the heart of Literacy DuPage, and you have kept our pulse strong. We celebrate you and your service. Thank you!

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,
