Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19 for an in-service day.


Senior Center and Community Center will open at 5 p.m. for evening activities.

Early bird gets the discount! Register before Feb. 23 to save on registration for Sterling Heights Youth Baseball and Softball.


Registration is $150 per player (non-resident fee applies).


Age groups consist of 4-6 T-ball, 8U Pitching Machine, 10U, 12U, 14U (baseball only), 15U (softball only), 16U (baseball only), 18U. (Baseball age as of 4/30/24; Softball age as of 8/31/23.)


All coaches are background checked and SafeSport certified.


Bonus: Refer a new player, get $10 credit towards a future Parks and Recreation program.

The Mom-2-Mom resale is back for its third year at the Sterling Heights Community Center on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.!


This year's event will be BIGGER and BETTER and will feature toys, clothing, furniture and many more items from more than 100 vendors! Concessions will also be available during the event.


Please note, there will be no commercial, art, or craft vendors.

Join us at the Senior Center for a Driver Safety Program geared to help mature drivers improve their safe driving techniques, navigate dangerous road conditions and avoid accidents.


Participants who complete the two-day (4 hours each day) course will receive a certificate which may be used for insurance discounts offered by some insurers.


Cost: $20 AARP Member / $25 Non-AARP Member

Thursday nights are brewing once again on Dodge Park Road. Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation is bringing you music on Thursday evenings from 6-8 p.m. through the Sterling CoffeeHouse series taking place inside the Community Center.

Enjoy a variety of talented local entertainers as we look to kick the winter blues. Ticketed concerts will showcase longstanding favorites, as well as tributes to some of the great bands that shaped the history of music. Ticketed events will also include locally sourced complementary coffee from Deer Camp Coffee, and a sweet treat compliments of Nothing Bundt Cakes. Our free concerts keep the beat going with different musical stylings in a casual, yet comfortable setting.

Join us on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. for a wild evening of fun while we celebrate winter break! Our evening will include indoor and outdoor activities, trivia games and refreshments.


Fee includes planned activity and pizza. This event will start in the Teen Room.
