1.) INSPIRE Registration OPEN! Thursday, August 15th from 8:00am – 4:00pm
The registration is LIVE for the Thursday, August 15th, 2024 INSPIRE Event! This great opportunity for our Early Learning staff will take place in-person at Seattle U from 8:00am – 4:00pm. The INSPIRE event has expanded to two days, but the Early Learning Tract will take place the first day on Thursday, August 15th.
This day is open to ALL staff that work in our Early Learning Programs (Preschool and PreK) and is FREE! Seattle U is also offering FREE accommodations for those that are traveling from further distances or have any other reason to spend the night. We will have a specific Early Learning Tract for the sessions that take place after the keynote … It should be an awesome day to share, collaborate and build community!
Please click on the link below for registration and an additional link for an INSPIRE informational landing page. Can you please forward this information to the rest of the staff in your Early Learning Program. I know this day will not work for everyone so we will continue to work on in-person opportunities for next school year as well. Please let me know if you have any questions!
2.) Thanks for a great year!
I want to take a moment to thank you all for an amazing school year! You and your staff have all made an incredible impact on the kids and families in your school community and I am honored to work alongside you! This will be the last Weekly Update Newsletter until July 29th, although I will communicate with you immediately if there is any important news or updates to share. I will also communicate directly with all those that are registered for INSPIRE (see above). I will be Out of the Office from June 26th – July 5th, but will be working the rest of the summer, except for a few days here and there. Please see below for a prayer that reflects this time of year. Thank you!
Lord and Teacher,
Bless all our schools
As we seek to end our year
With the grace you so generously
provide.
We give thanks for the students
And the faculty, the staff,
And all who have contributed
To this year of nurturing and
growth.
We affirm all the positive
moments,
Of insight, of the excitement of
learning,
Of accomplishment, of creativity,
Of laughter, of a sense of
community.
We recognize the times of
struggle,
Of difficult work, of
misunderstanding,
Even of failure-we give these
To you for transformation,
So they can become seeds
That will find fertile soil.
As we head into the summer,
May we take with us
The knowledge that
You will keep us all
In your embrace so
We may rest and be restored
And so we can continue in
The ongoing discovery
of your Love.
Have a great week!
