Ra! Ra! Run!
Cheerleading and dance squads, music bands, drumlines and anyone with spirit and enthusiasm are wanted to join the cheer stations along the route of the 5th Annual Ferguson Twilight Run. Help cheer race participants up hills, around corners and across the finish line on May 17! Play your favorite music or make signs. Do whatever you want to make it fun and exciting for the runners! Team Discounts
Registration fees increase on April 13, but you and your team can still get a discount on your registration after this date. When you register ten or more people as a team for the 5K or 10K, you get $2 off of each person's entry fee. Teams of four or more registering for the one mile fun run get one free entry. Show Your Community Spirit and Volunteer
It takes a lot of dynamic and energetic people to help make each year's event successful. Volunteer opportunities include packet pickup the week before the race, pre-race course setup, race course monitoring, water station distribution, finish line congratulating and post-race food distribution. 5th Year and Still Running: Spotlight on Mary Margaret Orbin
In the first and second annual Ferguson Twilight Runs, Mary Margaret Orbin walked the one mile race. The third year, she participated in the Ferguson Couch to 5K program. The group got her started running altogether and prepared her to cross the 5K finish line of the 3rd Annual Ferguson Twilight Run. Since then, Mary Margaret has continued to run the 5K in the Ferguson Twilight Run as well as other 5K events throughout the region and even a half marathon. "I always like encouraging others to join a Couch to 5K," says Mary Margaret, "because I never thought I could do a 5K either."
