Register by May 14 for Synod Assembly! This year's Synod Assembly will be on June 1-2 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. We will gather under the theme "CHALLENGE: Learn, Discern, Respond." You can find more details about Synod Assembly and the link to register on our website.

Annual Report Reminder


It's not too late to send in your congregational annual report! You can view all of the materials that were sent by mail by clicking here. There are some excellent resources on this page to help your congregation fill out the report!

Lay Ministry Certificate Program


Luther Seminary’s “Faith+Lead” is starting a new cohort for their School for Lay Ministry in May. This one year learning cohort is great for lay leaders who want to grow in their faith and/or those considering Synod Lay Ministry (with one additional course, this can work towards the education requirements). Reflective Leadership Grants


Reflective Leadership Grants from Leadership Education at Duke Divinity provide Christian leaders "balcony time" to reflect on accomplishments, broaden perspectives, and discern next steps. Learn about this opportunity at this link.

Northeastern Minnesota Synod will be hosting Walking Together: 50 Years of ELCA World Hunger on Saturday, Oct 12, 2024 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, MN. Members of the Eastern North Dakota Synod are invited to join the celebration!

 

This celebratory event will include worship with Glocal musicians, a hunger simulation, Action Center, silent auction and public art project. There will also be workshops with ELCA World Hunger, Lutheran Advocacy-MN, Eco-Faith Network, Together Here, and Sumud Northland - each tying their ministries to the issues of hunger and justice.

The Parish Nurse Ministry Program of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN will be offering the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing course June 3-7, 2024. The course will be held at First Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. This will be a full week of in-person learning activities as we do not offer a distance learning option. The program is open to licensed registered nurses who are interested in starting a health and healing ministry within a faith community or desiring personal/professional growth in caring for others

Lutheran Summer Music


Lutheran Summer Music is looking forward to an incredible year, and they have been able to add extra spots for this summer! Final openings are available for the four-week Full Session (June 30-July 28) for students in grades 8-12 who play clarinet, flute, horn, oboe, trumpet, euphonium, violin, or string bass.
