On Our Minds...

It's a family affair. Hollis Wein, JAC’s new Executive Director, introducing her niece to the importance --and fun -- of getting out the vote.
The JAC Board of Directors is proud to announce that Hollis Wein has been named Executive Director. Hollis offers unmatched dedication, experience and vision to guide JAC through the next election cycle and beyond.
For the last 10 years, Hollis served as JAC’s Director of Communications and Research, overseeing JAC’s communications strategy and message development, candidate research and outreach, and membership recruitment among many other responsibilities.
Her prior work experience includes being a Public Information Officer for the Cook County Forest Preserve Districts, Deputy Press Secretary at the DCCC and holding communication positions with numerous state and national campaigns.
Hollis will be supported by JAC’s Board of Directors. You can find a link here to the board list. Marcia Balonick, JAC’s former executive director for over 30 years, will serve as a senior advisor on the Board.
“Hollis has been a passionate and steadfast leader of JAC for more than a decade. I know she will continue to work tirelessly to elect more candidates to Congress who share our values,” said Board President Susan Berk.
“Throughout my time at JAC, I have met countless numbers of candidates whose passion for our country’s ideals constantly inspire me,” Wein said. “My most memorable moments at JAC have included traveling across the country with JAC members to get out the vote for our candidates. I have seen first hand the power of JAC, and I am honored to lead JAC alongside its dedicated Board and members.”
JAC’s work for the 2024 election cycle is underway. If you would like to be more involved, please click here to sign up for the JAC Mobilization team and click here to help JAC support its candidates.
Please note that Emanuela Frankel has left JAC for a new opportunity.

"The most important thing is to get out the vote. It is up to each of us to out-vote [Trump] and out-register him."
