In 2002 Elite Women of Excellence (EWOE) responded to a critical need to provide teenage young women with a compass to help them discern and develop healthy relationships which lead to beneficial moral, social, cultural and academic life choices. Since that time EWOE has assisted nearly 500 young women in establishing and accomplishing goals for personal success.

The 2014 program is scheduled to begin on Saturday, February 15, 2015. EWOE is currently seeking young woman from low income homes for participation. Scholarships will be provided for qualifying young women. 
  
The program consists of interactive workshops and community involvement that culminates with a formal graduation. This ballroom gala is an exciting and memorable celebration of beauty which has been groomed from the inside out. Furthermore, cultural, social and professional training received by the young women the mentoring program provide a springboard for future success. 
  
The program is current sophomores and juniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The selection process is based on a personal essay demonstrating interest, teacher or counselor recommendations and an interview. All program participants are eligible for the EWOE College Scholarship Essay Contest.
