CBHC Crisis Service
Do you know a young person or family in crisis?
Cambridge Health Alliance has new Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHC), and have made crisis cards to distribute throughout the community, so folks know where to get help when they need it (and people supporting them can help as well).
If you are interested in getting crisis cards and/or these Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) handouts in
English, Arabic, Español, Kreyol Ayisyen, Mandarin, Nepali, and Português, please email Nancy Tauber at ntauber@cambridgema.gov the following:
- Name and address to send the cards and/or handouts
- How many crisis cards do you want?
- How many FAQ handouts and in what languages do you want?

Bridge Scholars
Last year, Isra Mohamed (now a senior at CRLS) teamed up with the Design Lab and the Elementary School Network to create a tutoring program for students in grades K-3 that was co-designed and led by high school students.
Today the program, Bridge Scholars, serves roughly 80+ kids around Cambridge, including their first prototype with the Cambridge Community Center. In addition to this, Bridge Scholars has now partnered with two DHSP After School Programs, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2nd-5th grade childcare program, and the Peabody K-2nd grade & 2nd-5th grade childcare programs. The program continues to expand with other out-of-school time programs, schools and organizations requesting tutors. Way to go Bridge Scholars!
