January's Online Discussion:
Wednesday, January 13th, 6-7PM

It's winter outside! Brew a pot of herbal tea, cozy up under a blanket, and allow a good book to transplant you to a new landscape.

Join ESLT's Education Coordinator and AmeriCorps Member, Gabrielle for a thought-provoking discussion about Peter Wohlleben's, The Hidden Life of Trees.

This book explores the deep scientific processes of trees from the beginning of their life to after their death and brings light to their overlooked yet relatable ways of community.

Support our local businesses and order from Spellbinder Books! If you mention you're a part of ESLT's book club you'll receive 10% off.
For more information and to register, contact Gabrielle at gabrielle@eslt.org.
Recommended Nature Books for Children

We believe it is important to share these literary explorations with young ones, too! We have put together a list of children’s books for you and the kids in your life to enjoy together either warming by a fire or under the sunshine. This list has some of my favorite nature-related books that I enjoy even as an adult! Water, trees, diverse ecosystems, seasonal changes, animal perspectives, and ways to observe are all great topics included in these books.

Check out our list of recommended Children's Nature Books for titles and links to read-alouds and enjoy the magic of nature through together!

Looking for more resources to help you and your family connect to nature? Visit our new At-Home Haven on our website at the button below.
See you soon!

Sincerely,
Kay, Cami, Carissa, Heather, Amanda, Gabrielle, Sara, Sus, and our Board of Directors.
