ESF Places in Student Design Competition

The ESF student chapter of the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) placed third in the student design competition at the Water Environment Federation Technical Exposition and Conference earlier this month in Chicago with their project Planning and Design for Sauquoit Creek Dam Removal.

Work on the project began in the fall of 2022 in Daley's senior engineering design capstone course with support from Visiting Instructor John Dunkle and was carried across the finish line by current members of the ESF NYWEA student chapter.

Team members are Annie Roux, Lauren Henkler, Daniel Mack, Thomas Nightengale, and Jack Murtagh.
