Future City National Competition - Judges Needed!
Calling all engineers and STEM-related professionals! Here is an opportunity to give back to a future generation of young engineers. The Future City National competition is in need of presentation judges. The event is in Washington, D.C., in-person. Details are below.
Date: Monday, February 20th from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Location: Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC
What: Each year middle school students are tasked with looking to the future and building a city that adapts to the coming changes of society, resource availability, and economics. As a judge you’ll serve on a panel with other volunteers to assess the students’ models and presentations.
How: The event organizers provide a quick training, detailed rubrics and scoresheets, plus breakfast and lunch!
