East Ridge Bicycles SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

Hello Everyone!

Hope this finds you all doing great and out enjoying this fantastic spring weather!

This Sunday (April 26) we're heading up to Apison to ride some rollers. We've got 2 loops for you...

The 13 miler is a great ride for a beginner or to just get your legs moving. It's got a few small rollers and one pretty good hill to climb. There are two sections where you'll be riding on a fairly busy road.

The 26 miler is more challenging with some good, long, "roller coaster-like" rollers to go over. These are great for working on your climbing stamina. For you regulars, this is the "right" loop which takes us over to Tunnel Hill Rd.

We will meet at Apison Elementary School on E. Brainerd Rd.

To get there from I-75, take E. Brainerd Rd. away from Brainerd Rd. Follow it out a long ways. It will go from 4 lanes to 2. Keep going until you come to a stop at Ooltewah-Ringgold Rd. Go straight through the light for 3 miles. Apison Elementary is on the left.

Our rides are for all levels, though we ask that you be able to complete your chosen loop at a minimal average of 12 mph. One of us from the shop will be Caboose Boy, riding at the back making sure no one gets dropped. There is NO pressure to ride fast. It's all about fun!

We do ask that you have a road bike for this ride. Tri bikes are welcome, but we ask that you stay out of the aero position unless you are in front of a group with no riders in front of you.

Meeting time is 4:45 and ride out is 5.

Helmets are required.

You will be riding at your own risk.

Make sure to have your bike tuned and ready to ride.

Two bottles are recommended.

Maps will be provided.

When the weather is IFY, please call us at the shop around 3:30 for the final decision.

Hope to see you there!

Chris
